The 2022 Global Stadium Bout is an upcoming concert tour by American rock ring Scarlet Hot Chili Peppers that will exist in support of the band'southward 12th studio album, Unlimited Love, which was released on April 1, 2022. The tour volition exist the band's showtime in v years and their first in fifteen years with guitarist John Frusciante, who returned to the ring in 2019. Pre-tour promotional shows and performances [edit]
The Chili Peppers performed a surprise show The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on Apr 1, the 24-hour interval of the album's release. On April 7 they gave a special four song performance (with Frusciante on acoustic guitar) at Amoeba Music in Hollywood, CA. This performance saw the live debut of "Whatchu Thinkin'".[10] On May 1 the ring performed at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, replacing the Foo Fighters who cancelled their appearance post-obit the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins.
