Replacement Smoke and Fire Alarm
I built and took occupancy of my home in the summer of 2004. I am fortunate to never have a need for the system, experts recommend replacing all smoke/fire detectors every x years. I neglected the advice and got sixteen years. I was overdue. The 5304 model is the replacement for the originals. They matched well. I replaced the original plastic mounting brackets and electrical connections. I found them to be easier to install than anticipated. I purchased and received a bulk price of 12 units which increased the discounts. The leap sale made the toll more affordable. My family unit is worth whatever cost. I am embarrassed I didnt do this sooner. Happy to take new equipment and a lower take chances should a fire or harmful smoke develop.

Perfect replacement for preexisting model
I had an installed 5204 in the house I bought recently that I couldn't stop from chirping despite a new battery. I reviewed and then confirmed with your in house customer service that the available replacement 5304 would fit in the house without any rewiring or refitting base .Perfect replacement once I figured out that the base plate was different. It was included and I merely replaced the old one with the new base by using aforementioned 2 screws.

Skilful production. I had to supplant and older USI model that this one replaced. My older model lasted 9 years! The wire prune from my original model worked on the 5304 just the new mounting bracket had to exist switched out but easy to install overall.

Subsequently reading the production info on the website, I purchased the 5304 alarm to replace the previous model that is no longer available. It would take been much easier to use the aforementioned base plate then all I would have had to do was plug in the ability source. On the adept side..at least I did not have to supercede the power source plug. Once installed everything is fine.

I tried to purchase fume alarms locally to supplant the outdated ones that came with the house. After two tries, I finally gave upwards and looked upward the company that was on an former ones. I explained that I wanted a smoke alert that I did not take to rewire and provided the number on the expired alarm. The company had what needed, but I would accept to change the base plate one time. They changed to a universal base of operations plate only the plug was the aforementioned as my former fume alarm. I ordered 5 of these smoke alarms to replace the 10-twelvemonth-old models in my home i started malfunctioning and I decided to supercede all of them. I am not experienced enough to install new electrical wiring. Online research showed this is the replacement model for the old burn down alarms. This model allowed me to use the same mounting bracket and quick connector wire for the electric hookup. The quick connector was a picayune difficult to remove but after the first installation, I'one thousand a pro! Ordering was easy, the product is reasonably priced,and it arrived quickly. I programme to order my next replacements in x years when these need replacement. AWESOME.

Replacing 5204 Smoke/Fire Alarms
I replaced the ten-twelvemonth quondam 5204 alarms in my house with the recommended 5304 alarms. Replacement was easy using the existing bracket & wiring -- twist the onetime unit off & unplug followed by plug the new unit of measurement in & position-&-twist onto the bracket. The 5304 was on back-lodge merely arrived much to my delight BEFORE the promised date. I but asked the company via their website how to dispose of the old units as they comprise a small amount of radioactive fabric and wait their response.
